New yarn! Guess what's in now - undyed, natural cotton & alpaca blended yarn. From the Classic Elite Mountain Top Line, Canyon Yarn! It's a mix of 85% pima cotton / %15 alpaca. This yarn is super soft and machine washable! The natural colors are beautiful for showing off a special stitch.
Also, I know it's not new, but I've got a few more colors of Tatamy Tweed in stock. Tatamy Tweed is another machine washable cotton blend - this one's made right here in PA! The speckles of colors that make it tweedy, make it extra fun when mixing and matching colors, at least for me. If organic cotton's your thing, there are more colors of Sprout available at DYNT now too! The new colors just scream spring!
I'm still always on the lookout for US made yarns. Stay tuned, because in the near future, I'd like to introduce some new American Made lines. But don't let that deter you from stopping in now. I still carry Brown Sheep, Kraemer, Farmhouse Yarns, Florafil, and a number of smaller dyers.

New Hours!
You won't see the litebrite (r) sign at the new location, but starting this week, DYNT is now open Tuesday - Saturday, thanks to Pam (and a few elves that live at the Center of Harmony)! Pam is the owner of Just Pam, a shop in the CoH that shares the same entry as DYNT. Because she does custom work and doesn't have as much walk in traffic as the rest of us, she's able to watch DYNT a few days a week for me. As noted, she will have the occasional help from some of the other elves that inhabit CoH.
I can't tell you how thankful I am for Pam and the elves. As many of you know, my goal is to be open 5 days a week...but I can't quite manage that just yet. Pam has offered to give Tuesday and Fridays try. So starting this week, DYNT is now open:
Tuesdays: 11am - 5pm
Wednesdays & Thursdays: 10am - 6pm
Fridays: 11am - 5pm
Saturdays: 10am - 4pm
If you stop in on Tuesdays or Fridays, thank Pam for her time (and check out her current project - they are amazing).

More Mohair!
If you've been following DYNT on FaceBook, you know that some mohair yarn from Brown Sheep just arrived! I've had a few requests for more mohair recently, and since Brown Sheep Yarn Company is an American yarn manufacturer that has a mohair blend, I thought I should add it to my offerings. If you are a mohair fan, don't forget about Kraemer Yarn's Fountain Hill brushed mohair yarn either! Mohair has a naturally fuzzy appearance, which makes it a great yarn for drape-y, fancy shawls and wraps.
If you like bulky yarns, there's more Brown Sheep Burly Spun on it's way too! I know with the weather starting to warm up, our thoughts try and turn away from thick and heavy wool things...but it's never too late (or early) to make a great scarf, felted/fulled bag or winter wear! I personally love scarves and bags! They are a great way to practice a new stitch.

DYNT closed today. VERTIGO!
Ok, so today I closed the shop due to Vertigo. I HATE vertigo. It's been awhile since I've had it like this, but I do get it often enough to hate it. I have bad allergies, which like to mess with my inner ears...and yesterday I went to the eye doctor, and my pupils wouldn't dilate. So I had to get extra drops. Yesterday was a rough day, and today I noticed that my pupils are 2 different sizes...so I think today's Vertigo is a combination of allergies and messed up eyes. Needless to say, I don't feel well, at all...and then it started snowing...I decided it wasn't a good idea for me to drive today. So I closed the shop.
I hate doing that! Especially when I can still "function". But the more I move about the house, the more I realize that "functioning" isn't quite what I'm doing. Sure I may get a few things done, but it's not a pleasant experience. And yes, I can stare at a computer screen...just don't ask me to move my head...
Anyway, I've got a few new things in the works for February and March... and I'd like to start scheduling classes for March and April. What type of things do you want to learn? Do I need to have more beginner classes or more advanced classes? What time is best for you? Please let me know... I want to have DYNT bustling with activity in the coming months, and that requires help from my customers - after all, you are the ones who will be signing up for the classes!
